Get Islington Reading: The
Reading Adventure Game
Our
school is working with The National Literacy Trust, The Reading Agency and
Islington Borough Council as part of the Get
Islington Reading project to help our children be happy, confident readers.

In
October our school was chosen to launch The Reading Agency’s exciting new
online reading game for children called ‘The
Reading Adventure’. The aim of the game is to get children reading more and
trying different types of reading activities.
The
Reading Agency has sent us leaflets with details of how to access this game. A
copy is attached. We will also be sending them home with your child. To join in
with the game you may need to help your child set up an account using the 6-digit
school code found on the leaflet.
Islington
libraries will be hosting a range of free workshops and you and your child will
be notified about these through the online game.
