Elmer's Christmas by David McKee

Elmer is a very popular series for our children in Nursery and Reception. 

Another idea for the Christmas stocking to keep our children reading over the holidays.

'Norman the Slug Who Saved Christmas' by Sue Hendra

The children found this book very funny and enjoyed the thought that 

an animal so small could achieve something so important!

Children absolutely love any book by David Baddiel and we have them all in the library.

His new book 

'Future Friend' 

will be out in the shops for Christmas and will be in our library by January for all our children to borrow.

ADVENT CALENDAR

Our library has our very own Advent Calendar counting down to Christmas with a selection of the children's favourite books.

As part of our Christmas celebrations during the class sessions the children will be turning over the advent stars to discover a new book every day.

Reception class turned on the Christmas lights in the Library this morning.

They also turned over the first star in our Book-themed Advent Calendar.
