We have just received a delivery of new books to enhance the

growing stock of books that support our commitment to being an inclusive school.

It is important that every child should be able to see themselves in the books that they read. 

We are SO lucky with the new books we receive! Special thanks to #GetIslingtonReading for kindly purchasing new books to enhance our diversity and inclusive book collection and our language books.

We are delighted to continue working with the GIR to give children the gift of reading.

Reading Corners

 READING CORNERS

We now have some amazing reading areas throughout the school. 

Our children are never very far from an opportunity to read in comfortable surroundings.

Each corner has a wide variety of books, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, magazines, comics, and newspapers.

We really are putting reading at the heart of our learning making our children confident readers.

Does your child have a Birthday this month?

Why not celebrate by joining our 

BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB

Amara-Renee and Archie - Red Class - with their Birthday Book Club books

Donate a book in honor of your child's birthday and help our school library to grow.

1. Pay £6 on Parent Pay.
2. Your child chooses a book for the library with the help of our school librarian.
3. A dedication plate with your child's  first name, class and birth date is put in the book. 
4. Your child is the first to borrow the book and share with you at home.

A perfect way for your child to actively help their school and learn the importance of giving and sharing.
