Book Club – After School

This school year we have opened up the library after school for children to enjoy.

Each week we choose a book to share either a story or poem.

The children take turns reading to the group and then we discuss the book and share our thoughts.

Children enjoy independent time to explore the books we have in the library and enjoy reading in all the cosy spots with our array of comfortable seating. A favourite spot is the book nook under the stairs.

 

We also do activities such as designing book covers and making and designing book marks.
