Book Surgery

The Book Surgery at Parent’s Evening on Thursday 19th October.

One of our local bookshops from Crouch End, Pickled Pepper Books, who have organised several successful author events with our school, were on hand to help parents and carers with suggestions of titles to encourage a love of reading for pleasure in reluctant readers, as well as to recommend newer titles for keen readers to try.

We are pleased that many parents and carers came along to discuss with the book seller the various books on offer and avail of his experience when choosing for all types of readers. There was an atmosphere of real excitement about the books with many delighted children going home with a new book.

Thanks to all for coming along to support this new initiative.

Thanks to Pickled Pepper Books.

Book Surgery

Come to our Book Surgery

at Parent's Evening

on Thursday 19th October
Key Stage 2 Junior Hall

At parent's evening your class teacher will be discussing personalised areas for development in reading.

We have invited one of our local bookshops from Crouch End, Pickled Pepper Books, who have organised several wonderful author events with our school, to be on hand to help parents and carers with suggestions of titles to encourage a love of reading in reluctant readers as well as recommend newer titles for keen readers.

Books will be available for purchase on the evening and the school will receive 10% on all book sales which means more books for our School Library.

We hope that you will find this book surgery useful.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
