 Book Club – After School

We are celebrating another year of our after-school book club.

Each week we share a little part of a book that the children select.

The following show the rich selection of books shared over this year.

Zoo by Anthony Browne

Fantastically Great Women Who Made History: Mary Shelley

Little People, Big Dreams: Marie Curie

Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World: Coco Chanel

Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls: Agatha Christie

Little People, Big Dreams: Emmeline Pankhurst

Malala's Magic Pencil by Yousaf

The Journey by Francesca Sanna

Tiger Tiger Burning Bright - Poems

Can Bears Ski? by Raymond Antrovus

The children take turns reading to the group and then we discuss the book and share our thoughts.

Children enjoy some independent time to explore the books and enjoy reading in all the cosy spots especially the book nook under the stairs.

We also do activities such as writing book reviews, designing book covers and making and designing book marks.
