Pupil librarians are chosen from our Years 5 and 6 each term. They learn how to use the library as independent learners. At lunch times two junior librarians help to monitor the library with the school librarian, Mrs Rooney.
They learn how the electronic management system works and have chance to share their love of reading and books with other pupils.

If you would like to be a Junior Librarian please let the librarian know at the start of the new term in September.
Pick up an application form.
Once all the applications are in there will be an interview.

Over the holidays why not do a little research into the role of a Junior Librarian and come prepared for the job!

TRANSITION

YEAR 6

Year 6 classes will be treated to an exciting workshop with the acclaimed author, Sita Brahmachari, in preparation for the ‘big change’ that will be happening when they move this autumn from Primary to Secondary school.

Sita’s book ‘When Secrets Set Sail’ deals with issues of change and her workshop will help the children think about ways of positively embracing this new beginning.

Thank you to the #GetIslingtonReading program for giving us this opportunity.
