How to review a book on the Reading Cloud

Some people are having a little trouble getting to grips with the Reading Cloud. Don't worry - I'm here to help!

Here's an exhaustive list of the steps needed to write a book review on the Reading Cloud

If you are using the Reading Cloud website:

·         First access the Reading Cloud - there's a link at the top of the page

DO NOT just type ‘Reading Cloud’ into Google – it will cause you problems!

·         Log in with your username and password. These are on your library cards and the letters that were sent home
·         Type the name of the library book you want to review into the search bar and search!
·         Click the book you want in the search results
·         On the book’s page there will be a green button on the right next to the “Reserve” button that says “Create Review”. Click it!
·         Select a star rating and type your review into the box
·         When you are happy with it, click “Save”
·         You’re all done!

If you are using the iMLS app:

·         Activate iMLS and log in with your username and password. Ensure you are logging in to the correct St Joseph’s Reading Cloud (our postcode is N19 5NE)
·         Tap the three bar icon on the top left and search for your book using the search bar.
·         Tap the book you want to review on the list of results.
·         On the page that opens, tap the pen icon on the bottom left and select “Text Review”
·         Pick a star rating, type out your review and when you’re done, tap publish
·         You’re all done!

If any of these steps don’t work:

·         Wait for a minute in case it is running slowly
·         If it still isn’t working, refresh the page or restart the app and try again.

If you still have trouble, come to see Mr Ansell in the library for help.
